You never know how much a person affects your life until they are no longer here.
Unfortunately this page is not maintained by Mandi Alexander herself. This page was created to try to help in getting the word out about what happened to Mandi. Someone somewhere knows something. It only takes one little piece to complete the puzzle.
I'm asking that you read the entire profile about Mandi. If you'd like, add her to your friends page to help spread the word. This page was not made for a popularity contest. It was made to hopefully help in getting the word out & maybe find the person who did this. I figure it this way, the more people who see it, the more chance there is to maybe solve this crime. Authorities have no solid leads on who committed this horrible crime.
Mandi Alexander was born on May 15, 1978. She was the daughter of Karen and Guy Sunderland. Mandi had two very small children ages 4 and 6 months. She was a great person. She loved life and loved her family and friends. She had a sweet spirit. She was very laid back and rolled with whatever life threw at her.
On September 4, 2002 Mandi went to work around 3:00pm at a job she had just started at the Dolly Madison Bakery in Great Bend, Kansas. That was a day that would change many lives forever.
Somewhere around 5:30pm-6:00pm a man came into the bakery where she worked and murdered Mandi and also a customer of the store, 79 yr old Mary Drake. The man was seen locking the front door to the bakery and leaving to the north of the building. The composite was done on a profile/side view so how accurate it is we don't know. He could possibly look quite a bit different than the composite. The man was described as being approximately 6' tall, weighing approximately 180 lbs, having blondish brown shoulder length hair, wearing a gray to black t-shirt, cut off shorts and a dark colored baseball cap. He is in his 30's possibly.IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CRIME PLEASE CALL THE KANSAS BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION AT
