Everything looks perfect from far away

About Me

Heading into the garden... i love spring. One year later and I miss my Dad, i can't believe how time has passed. I still describe myself like this: I still tend to appreciate the simple things in life like blowing bubbles, hair in pigtails, coloured toenail polish (blue or silver) and saying what you mean and meaning what you say. Despite working in the political heart of it all (well for the US, anyway), i don't like office politics. I gravitate towards people with sarcastic British wit (or appreciators of the such), folks with excellent senses of humour (not cruel ? witty!) who know how to have fun sans chemical enhancement, although a good mudslide or jello shot will never be turned down. LOVE to go clubbing, practically lived at the Limelight the summer of 1992, fond memories of the Melody in New Brunswick (i have one souvenir of the place - my hubby) & still searching for something as fun, cool & unpretentious as that here in the DC area.

My Interests

still not acting my age, dancing, hanging out with friends, traveling, having fun, being respectable (mostly), yoga, playing in dirt -adults call it gardening.

I'd like to meet:

1. Folks from Uruguay & Argentina (I NEED more alfajores!!!!!) 2. Anyone cool in the DC-metro area so that i can expand my circle of friends. 3. Actually anywhere in the world is just groovy too. 4. Fellow brits 5. Anyone in the DC area who has/knows someone who has Multiple Myeloma (a blood cancer that begins in the plasma cells but affects the bones) - Live Strong, People!
