About Me

Guitarist Chris Gordon combines elements of neo classical shred and rock and combines them with progressive fusion stylings that has made him a sought after touring and recording guitarist. He has recorded and performed with Ted Neely in Rasputin the Musical and has appeared on record with trumpet legend Arturo Sandavol. He has traded solos with Ian Anderson, Joe Stump, Jimmy Bruno, and David Bromberg. In 2000 Chris became the Director of Music at The Grand School of Music in Wilmington De. After a seven year stint as Music Director Chris returned to teaching and accepted an offer as Curriculum Designer for The Grand Opera House where he writes music curriculums for Music programs through out the community. Chris also accepted an offer to teach for Wilmington's Paul Green's School of Rock led by Eric Svalgard. Chris currently teaches up to 50 students a week and also heads up "The Shred Chamber" a program featuring some of his students shredding arrangemnents of Vivaldi, Bach, and Paganninni. Chris is also an instructor with musicvirtuosity.com a webcam/video instructional site where some of Chris' advanced guitar concepts can be purchased.
