About Me

I write books for anyone with a story to tell; celebrities, TV, film and music personalities, and ordinary people with extraordinary stories.
I also write songs, occasionally write for newspapers and magazines, and in 2007 I launched H ezine - the online magazine and networking website for media, creative and showbiz talent. My newsletter is sent to 3,000+ people worldwide and my website has dozens of new opportunities, media requests and articles added daily.
Funny people make me laugh. I live for my work, my friends and family, travel and meeting new people. I'm unpredictable and adventurous, sincere and passionate. I always do what feels right for me. I can be a bit mysterious at times, but I am me and I make no excuses for it! ♥

No Tenner No Fuel

So there I was on a train to Scarborough. A blessedly empty carriage with lots of free seats. It was early in the morning and I was travelling with my Welsh friend, a fisherman from the North, near Ba...

Memories are made of this ...

I think I am feeling homesick for my childhood, as I seem to be drawn to those gorgeous comics I used to read when I was seven or eight, and nine and ten. In the 1970s and early 80s, I would rush home...

Okay, is it me or is there something really fishy going on in Bridgend? For those unfamliar with the story, Bridgend is a town in South Wales that has played host to 19 'suicides' since January 2007. ...

Bitchy girls are not sexy

Some girls can be so bitchy. It's horrible but hilariously funny too. It's like they aren't happy unless they're bitching about another girl or generally causing trouble. I'm not perfect and I don't c...

Who won the race?

Today I'm on a mission to slow down. Instead of rushing through the day, from one job to another, from one meeting to another, until I collapse on the couch, exhausted, at the end of the day, from now...

Dreams do come true

Lately I have been daydreaming about travel, about new places and old ones, too. I'd love to visit Vancouver, then drive down to Seattle for a few weeks, before hopping over to LA, and I want to visit...

Mean people suck

I feel so, so sad for anyone who can't bring themselves to commit an act of kindness. I don't cry easily, but it upsets me when people can't get it into their heads that the world would be a much bett...

Itchy feet again

I used to visit a place and want to live there but not anymore. I've still got itchy feet, but now there isn't a place in the UK I'd want to live, except perhaps Edinburgh, and London of course, and I...

Crazy relationships

Relationships are funny old things. What drives us to stay in a rubbish situation, on a merry go round, going round and round in circles, and never getting off? Relationships can be like a roller coas...

Fun times

Saturday night we went to dinner at the Himilaya Spice and it was fabulous. The food was Indian, and absolutely delicious. We had Tikka Masala and Korma with boiled rice, washed down with white wine, ...
