Nicola K

Coming from a Greek-Cypriot family but growing up in the UK - Nicola stays tru to her routes by fusing her rock and soul influences with the sounds of the Mediterranean - bringing a truly original style that will send shivers down you spine.
Nicola has a wealth of musical experience - as a singer, a musician, producer and working in the buisness side of music, and has played accross the UK and Europe with her amazing live 7 piece band.

Chris Cope
An extremly exciting new singer-songwriting talent, Chris' songs speak for themselves by combining a mature pop sensibility with elements of rock and blues.
His music has a sense of earthly musicality - something often missing in todays pop environment. Although a relatively young artist, Chris has a wealth of experience, and a songwriting character and ability displaying a maturity beyond his years.

Leroy Jones 7
Stirring up a musical storm, Leroy takes his favourite bits from soul and rock to create his own new style: Alternative Soul. With fresh and funky beats mixed with driving guitars and the most grooving bass lines, it's like soulful vocals walking on a jagged edge. Leroy also has a large amount of writing experience for artists such as Jamelia - and can often be found writing or producing for others when not dabling in alternative soul. Great tunes, great vibes and great beats, there is no-one who will not enjoy Leroy Jones 7.
DNA
DNA are a shining light in European hiphop beaming from the Cyprus capital Nicosia. Breaking out of the usual topics of commercialised hiphop, DNA stay true to their routes by combining Greek-Cypriot music with huge hiphop beats and thought-provoking Cypriot lyrics. DNA have played at shows and festivals all accross Europe, including HiphopKemp where they played with the likes of Skinnyman and Foreign Beggars to name just two. They are now working with Swagbag producer Benjamin K and miss Nicola K on a new album, so don't miss out - check out this hiphop revolution now.
Rachael Golding
Rachael Golding brings an exciting rock edge to a traditioanl pop singer-songwriter style. With a varitey of influences and bags of live performance experience, Rachael is definatly one to look out for. She has just released her debut EP "The Real Me" with Swagbag Records, and is now gigging extensively with her fabulous live band accross the UK.
Brooke Supple
Armed with a guitar and an extraordinary powerful set of lungs, Brooke Supple has been captivating awe struck audiences both in Australasia and Europe for over a decade. A charismatic explosion of playful melodies and an emotionally charged stage persona has led Brooke to a NUMBER ONE single in Japan (cover of Janis Joplin’s BIG YELLOW TAXI). With a wealth of live experience including The TOAST FESTIVAL 2007 - celebrating the music & culture of Australia and New Zealand, Brooke performed on the festival’s main stage to an awaiting crowd of 10,000 people. There is no doubt that Brooke’s live performance and song writing experience on the road, in the studio and abroad, has laid the solid foundations to produce an outstanding, mature and ‘market ready’ singer/songwriter. InSoFar
Originally from Brighton, InSoFar bring fast bursts of musical energy and melodic riffs "sharp as a razors edge." Mixing up-tempo melodic punk riffs with hard rock guitar solos and chant-a-long choruses so seamlessly and effortlessly that you can't fail to be sucked in. iN so Far are all about big songs with big guitars - with great musicianship blended with poignant and political vocals - "iNsoFar are riotously potent in times of too many people taking the safe route." These guys will make your ears bleeed but leave you ith a huge smile on your face.
Anna Neale
Hailing from Woking in Surrey, Anna is a sensual, playful and feisty young singer songwriter. Anna has performed her unique acoustic rock with gutsy soul vocals across the UK, Canada, USA and Ireland, attracting the attention of an increasing number of fans with her live, TV and radio appearances. Anna’s intensely powerful live performances won her the label ‘sex folk’ by the national Canadian press. After touring as a member of the Dublin soul band The Commitments - Anna’s move to become a performer in her own right has seen her take her career to a new level, showcasing at Manchester’s renowned In The City, and has become a regular main stage performer at the annual Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Anna’s new EP ‘Handle With Care' is set for release in June 2007 and is a taster from her forthcoming album currently in production with engineer/programmer/producer Jez Larder (Estelle, Kristian Leontiou, The Flamming Monkeys) and Dean James (Nitin Sawhney, Sugababes, Duran Duran). “A sassy songstress with a shrewd observational eye which she uses to great effect in her melodic tales of life and love.” Linda Serck, BBC Berkshire
Beyond Reasonable Doubt
Beyond Reasonable Doubt are one of London’s finest and most exciting emerging alternative bands. They are already bringing blistering punk-rock music to the UK underground scene, mixing up the sounds and styles of NOFX and Lagwagon with the more modern sounds of Story Of The Year and Yellowcard. With huge guitars, fantastic musicality and melodies to get you singing along with minutes, BRD are definatly a band to check out. Their debut album was released on 10past10 Records midway through 2006 receiving exciting and promising reviews from Kerrang, Metal Hammer, and Big Cheese. They have been said to be the future sound of British punk and rock - and have the ability to excite, stun and connect with their audience…and with their potential, the underground circuit will not contain them for long.
Laoise
Originally from Ireland, Laoise [pronounced Lee-Sha!] is a soul/funk/jazz singer songwriter with a huge array of influences and an ultra-smooth and sassy vocal style. Laoise has been writing tracks with various other writers and producers over the last few years in Ireland and the UK - and she is now playing out live with her own live band to bring her lovely smooth vocal style to a wider audience. Along-side her solo material, Laoise also works as a sesison singer, vocal coach, and even a judge on talent show competitions - and is definatly one jazz and funk singer to keep your eye on.
Slashed Seat Affair
Within an industry ever creating manufactured pop, SSA’s original style, lyrics and performance make them credible and immediately accessible, which is truly a force to be reckoned with. Announcing themselves with their feisty, smart and hard pop lyrics infused with riff driven melodies, showers of almighty drumming & powerful honest vocals - Slashed Seat Affair are; Ellie Mules (vocals), Darren Michael (Bass), Tom Lloyd-Jones (Guitar) & Rob Meehan (Drums). Having each been involved in very different musical projects over the years, these four individuals each bring a piece of themselves to the table and are not afraid to call themselves ‘pop’ or ‘radio friendly’ but be careful…for they have a darker & deeper side that creeps up on you when you least expect it.
Tommy Ludgate
Tommy Ludgate is a soulful jazz/blues vocalist and songwriter based in London. Having just graduated from a degree in Music, she has been writing songs and gigging with a blinding live band for the past 2 years. Tommy has just released her debut EP, but is now constantly writing new material – which is “mostly based on the life of Tommy Ludgate - the tears, laughs, emotions, distractions, etc... involved with being a young singer/songwriter!” Tommy has many different influences, and from an early age began performing, and went on to sing as part of a gospel choir. She has gone on to develop a fantastic and unique soulful and smooth vocal style, and has performed around Europe and on TV.
Nussia
Nussia is Russian for “our” and is the brainchild of the hugely talented singer/songwriter Stephan Plotnikov. His material combines warm, mellow melodies with the fantastic tone of his voice, which is relaxing, cooling and chilling as well as uplifting. A multi-instrumentalist as well as singer, Stephan nurtured, built and perfected his recent album “N-Titled.” Not wanting this hard work to go to waste, and under the guise of Nussia, Stephan treated us to acoustic sets of his tracks, playing intimate gigs in the likes of Tufnell Park and Kentish Town, to name a few. As well as Drake and Dylan, Nussia’s material has been compared to Ray Lamontagne, and also the king of relaxation, Jack Johnson – allow Nussia lead you on a captivating journey of musical quality.
Lo*Chine
Lo*Chine are a 4 Slick Funk Stormtroopers' from Southampton playing massive slabs of wonderful pop, influenced by deep funk, rock, disco and soul – brilliant fun, funky and hooky songs ‘that will make you want to dance like a mofo.’ Their songs about very important issues including: having really great hair; love affairs between sea mammals and mathematicians; cats at Christmas; the notion that all food should have sauce; being promised sandwiches and not getting sandwiches etc. They have released several soulful and sexy EPs over the past few years, as well as gigging heavily across the south to spread their funk-love. Described as a 'Groovy funk/pop machine' by BBC Hampshire, their music is infectious and has been said to ‘inject your bloodstream with a funky-twitch, forcing you to jerk your shoulders back and forth and move your head and feet!' If you're in need of some fuel-injected funk in your life, then you had better check out this band from the South coast.
The Tymes
The Tymes are an emerging rock-pop band from Bishops Stortford and were brought together in June 2005 after a number of chance meetings.From main songwriter Mark Bullock meeting lead vocalist Chris Priest in a pub in Bishop’s Stortford to the emergence of Jack Daubney on bass and the final line-up being confirmed with Elliot Porter on keyboard and Steve Jackson on drums, the Tymes were formed.As a band they began to gel immediately, and together they began to create a musical style that is soft British rock, ranging from fairly slow tempo, emotional rhythm based songs to some hard hitting rockier songs. Within the band there is a range of musical influences and styles which contribute to the unique sound of the band – something often missing from today’s British pop-rock scene, and as such these guys are defiantly a band to keep an eye on.
