Hi my name is Katrina McMurray , I'm 28 years old at the mo, i have a boyfriend and 2 gorgeous kids Connor and Chloe, i came on myspace to make new friends and didn't expect to do a fan page but let me tell you a little bit about how i came to know about . THE BRILLIANCE!

.... I had been on my other myspace a few weeks now and getting the normal add requests and the comments, then one day a kid called Rob said check out the band he is in , so i went on the page, and had a listen to the music n that and was really impressed by them and me living in Hull which is their home town i just had to add them! Anyway on the page it said the name of the lead singer...Shane mcmurray well i nearly died cos thats my last name! so to cut a long story short he is a cousin i never even knew i had and never met, how mads that. Shane is a great singer and the rest of the band are really good at what they do too. You really need to check them out.

I thought id set up this page to try and get The Brilliance out there a bit more than they already are I'm sure they dont need my help but if you could help support the band it would be cool. Please add me and let me know what you think of them and the music and if you have ever been to a gig or know them even. I'm going to see them soon as they are doing a gig in Hull on the 17th October at the Linnet and Lark Pub, if your in the area why dont you fill the place out and show them some love x

UPDATE!!

I finally got to go see the brilliance last night at the sesh 17/10/06 and they was great !! they are a great live band and really friendly too i got my pics with them so that was cooool!!!
i really want to go to the London gig now and i think you should go too, it will be a great night out!
go to their gigs and check them out for yourself :D

THE BRILLIANCE BREAK UP 4/11/06

The Brilliance have decided to take some 'time out' from the band and do there own thing for a while, hopefully one day they will reunite so i am going to leave this page running as i have loads of new friends and i cant be arsed to start a new one!! lol

i have taken it upon my lovely self to do yet another profile dedicated to the superbly talented Shane mcmurray as ofcourse i can no longer be Kat The Brilliance Fan if there is no Brilliance band...for now. so anyway have a look at my new page and add me if you like it doesn't matter if you dont cos I'm still going to use this page as Ive got myself some reet good friends on here so wont be deleting it.
