KINGS OF LEON NAME NEW ALBUM!!!! --------------------------------Kings of Leon have confirmed the tracklisting for their third album, which they will reelase in April.'Because Of The Times' is the follow up to 2004's 'Aha Shake Heartbreak', and sees the band work once again with producers Ethan Johns and Angelo Petraglia. The LP will be preceded by the single 'On Call', which will be available on iTunes from February 6. It gets a physcal reelase on March 26, followed by the album on April 2.The title of the album refers to an annual preachers' conference the boys attended as youngsters, and the band say they went into recording with a bravery they didn't have with previous albums."We weren't scared to try anything," said drummer Nathan Followill. "I think that's the difference between this album and the last. We weren't timid at all. Every song showed us something we had inside of ourselves that we didn't know existed, which enabled us to be even bolder on the next song."The tracklisting is:'Knocked Up' 'Charmer' 'On Call' 'McFearless' 'Black Thumbnail' 'My Party' 'True Love Way' 'Ragoo' 'Fans' 'The Runner' 'Trunk' 'Camaro' 'Arizona'

INTERVIEW WITH CALEB FOLLOWHILL:What's it like to be in a band with all your brothers and your cousin?......... It's cool. I mean we argue like most bands. But I mean we can get over it pretty quickly. We don't hold grudges or anything. We're all pretty close. It's just easier. It makes everything easier in the sense that since we are family, you can be totally honest. So can you tell me about the days when you were all younger and traveling around with your evangelist father?............ It was weird. We would just stay in churches or hotels. To us it was completely normal. We didn't know it any other way. That's the way it had been since we were like really young.Everybody gets real drawn in by the story. We can see now why, but like back then we wouldn't have understood why anybody would have thought we were any different. But like looking back, it's definitely a weird thing. I mean, it was a really strict religion. If we weren't in music, I doubt anybody would really think it was that interesting. Is it true that it was only when your father left the cloth hood that you were fully able to explore music? ............. Yeah, I mean, that just kind of opened the floodgate to like pop culture and stuff like that. And I mean so we kind of got to do things that we had never been able to do before. We started watching TV and buying CDs.It took about a year before we were just like completely disgusted with pop culture in general. So we started listening to different stuff -- older stuff. You could just tell by listening to it that it wasn't conjured up by suits. We just got really sick of everything that we would see and hear. So we just shut ourselves off from pop culture again and started listening to our own things. When we did that, we kind of would just get pissed off with the way everything was. So we thought we should make music that we could listen to without wanting to like throw up.So we started like thinking about putting a band together. And then the Strokes came out. And then like we started hearing a lot more about the White Stripes and stuff like that.So would you say you were inspired by groups like the White Stripes and the Strokes? ......... Yeah I mean somewhat. Not necessarily musically as much as just the way that they don't care about anything. They don't really care about selling records. I mean they make good music, and they know they do. So they know they don't have to really worry about anything. How do you think that your songwriting has changed over the years?.............. Back then you were just trying to come up with rhymes. When we first started, all we would do is try to come up with a good idea and then try to write rhymes around it. Now it doesn't even really have to rhyme. It’s just about telling a good story and venting your feelings.Back then we used to write lyrics, and then we'd try to come up with a melody for it. And now I usually come up with the melody on an acoustic guitar. And then Jared will come in and play a little bit. And Matt will come up with parts. Then we write the lyrics around that.Do you think that your songs tend to be more autobiographical or fictional?........... There’re always little pieces of us in the song -- like little memories of places that we've been to and the experiences that we've had. We kind of grew up being dreamers so we’ve got really good imaginations. So we can come up with some pretty crazy things, and it doesn't really have to be something that happened to us. It can just be straight from our head.
