About Me

Kal-els Cape are a band started originally by ex Oracle and Brilliance members Shane Mcmurray and David Kyte. Shane enjoyed success as a solo artist in the months leading up to the bands creation and after much consideration decided it was time to take the songs he played solo to a band and so created was Kal-els Cape.
Six practices later Kal-els Cape played their debut gig and only 2 months later played at one of the UK's biggest festivals. Guilfest 2007!
It wasn't long before Kal-els Cape we're appearing on the radar and in August 2007 they were invited down to London to record their track "Gettin Back" with top producer Jay Reynolds who has recently worked with Just Jack (recording his No1 album) and Kylie Minogue.

About the recordings (techniques)

I had quite a few questions about them so here is a blog, i hope it satisfies ;) The songs were recorded by me in a practise room in about 5 hours and mainly done in one take which is how i pref...
