Dance: Anyone reading this already knows what dances I do.
Travel: I've been to Barbados, Belgium, China, France, Italy, India, the Netherlands, and Prague and Barcelona (but have yet to see the Czech Republic or Spain beyond those cities). Next, I'm thinking Australia. And I've traveled quite a bit through what I like to call "Upper Mexico".
Eating out: Eat Me, Seattle! I started a now almost defunct dining group, with the idea that we try restaurants that no one has been to be before. Mark and I also once attempted to eat at every restaurant on the Ave. about 4 years ago. Trust me on this - never order anything called "Rat Bastard".
Playing the piano: Self taught, I used to play for my high school choir, and now am relearning since I finally got it shipped to my place. I wish I were Fats Waller. Well, that I had his ability to play the piano. I don't really want to be a fat dude.
Anthropology & Historic Preservation:
My graduate degree is in Applied Anthropology, with a focus on heritage resource management and tourism planning. I enjoy seeing, living and working in, and being surrounded by historic structures - they add a sense of depth and purpose to our built environment.
Wrapping up presents real pretty like: Why give a gift if it's going to look like ass?
Knitting: I've only started this a couple months ago, and I'm addicted. My best work yet - an iPhone cozy. :)
