About Me

I have just been appointed to the Topsoil and Agricultural Advisory Panel, and the Vegetation Enhancement Technical Advisory Committee aka VETAC, the oldest most reputable environmental committee in my city, and I was in a car commerical that I haven't seen yet. I am a klutz....Pure and simple. You have something lying around? I will trip over it, I promise you. My biggest pet peeve is people yelling "Get it in the hole!!" for every golfer, during a golf tournament....especially when someone is teeing off on a par 4 or 5..... Just be quiet! I am first generation Irish girl, and an only child. I wasn't spoiled, but I was treated well. I am a hard working dreamer, who doesn't do well being idle. I'm in school and doing fairly well so far. I am one of those people who loves to push themselves to the breaking point stress wise (which is why the turf industry was perfect for me!) I had to leave the golf industry because of a knee injury and that is why I am going to school. To learn something new. I guess you can't drive a tractor for your entire life. I am very passionate and sometimes I feel I am too nice. Some people think I am too hyper but I really don't care. I am who you see. I am not cool, so I don't try to be. My dream is to play TPC Sawgrass and kick ass on the 17th hole. I also dream of being at Augusta. I don't know if I would want to play, I just want to walk it, be there during The Masters, maybe sit by the 15th green and watch. I love fashion, I have a white floppy hat, so I am ready for garden parties and polo matches. I want to understand cricket. I love Pocky. I hate being lied to even if you think it is protecting me. I would rather hurt for a little while then doubt you. I love my friends very much and missed them while I lived out west. I always wish I knew more than I do, so knowledge is good. I like political debates, because I don't know everything, and it's a chance to learn. I am the kind of girl you can take to meet the Queen or take to a Hockey game. I am cultured and civilized but I can eat food with my hands as well. I want all my friends to succeed, and I hope that I too succeed as well. I love Pop Culture and love spending time watching Hockey and everything Golf. I don't like my neigbours, and I an not fond of birds.

Cascade Mountain, Banff AB.........but I didn't climb this one!I love to golf and everything about it. That includes the turf end of it, as I worked in the industry for over 5 years. I hate winter because in most parts of Canada; it doesn't include golf. My fave golfers are Ian Poulter, Padraig Harrington and Phil Mickelson and my favourite sound is hearing Tiger swing and hit the ball on the tee deck. As well I am obsessed by the sound of David Feherety's voice. I have a new found love affair with Camilio Villegas, also known as Spider Man for the stance he takes on the green and for his shots by the fringe. I am a huge Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and I don't care how much you think they suck, I am true blue. I have some shopoholic tendencies. In the next year, I am going to be forever memorexed in a comic book. I am playing Death and I am pretty excited about that. I love going to the Ballet and Theater as well as hanging out in museums, although I can't really do that here in Sudbury. I miss having multiple Starbucks at my beck and call. Spending time with my friends and yes, my lazy side.... I love watching Buffy and Angel. I wont go to one of those cult meet the cast things, but I am pretty into the shows.

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet people who push me to succeed, and want the same things for themselves. I want to meet people who love life and everything that it has to offer. I want to meet people that not only dream, but make it happen. I want to meet people who will take me golfing!

Music:

I It's really hard to say what kind of music I hate. I love ABBA, I love Zappa. Some of my faves however are and will always be are Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young. Lez Zepplin, The Rolling Stones, The Chairman of the Board :), HIM (Findland metal band), Johnny Cash of course, and god love 'er Madonna!! I also like some good ole fashioned Bluegrass (see, I DO like everything!) John Mayer, Josh Groban and more!

I try to read a little bit of everything. Right now, I have started in on the world of John LeCarre (ah espionage!), I have on my bookshelf lots of material on Che Guevera, and Fidel Castro. I am into Latin American Labour issues, and I read about Communism and American Politics. Love Dan Brown and one of my most fave books is the Tao of Pooh. I am currently reading Plato's The Republic...In between schoolwork of course!
