Where to start...I love watching movies and feel the need to keep building my collection. My favorite movie of all time is City of Angels but I am in no way a typical girly movie kind of gal. I love a good comedy that makes me laugh out loud and want to watch it again .I have a soft heart so I love Chick flicks and Romantic Movies.. Like Pretty Woman, Sleepless in Seattle, but also Unfaithful, Lord of the Rings, etc...

THE WILL OF ALLAH
The Will is an eternal and everlasting attribute of Allah by which He specifies the intellectual possibilities with one attribute instead of another, or with some attributes among the attributes which are permissible to attribute to them. Allah specifies them with existence over non-existence, with one time frame over another time frame , etc .
Since the creation is specified with its particular attributes instead of all the other attributes that it could be specified with, this entails that it is in need of a creator. One of us enters into existence when Allah willed, not sooner or later. When Allah specified the time of creation for all the different types of creations, the last to be created was Adam. Allah could have specified him with another time frame.
Al-Iraadah and Al-Mashiy'ah have the same meaning.
The intellectual proof that Allah is attributed with will is that if He w as n o t, then nothing would exist. The existence of the creations is not dependent on themselves.
According to Ahlu-s-Sunnah, the will of Allah is over all things, whether good, evil, sickness, mobility, ideas, worship, a breath, sin, life, death. it is all by the will , power, knowledge and the creating of Allah.
Whatever Allah willed with His eternal will must happen, and whatever Allah did not will to happen will not happen. Abu Dawud narrated that the Prophet (^Alayhi-s-Salaam) taught one of his daughters to say: "Whatever Allah willed to happen will happen and whatever Allah did not will to happen will not happen".
The decree of Allah is what Allah willed to happen, which is destiny; Allah making everything the way it is.
The will of Allah does not change. Whatever changes has to be a creation.
The decree of Allah is without a beginning and does not change. Imaam Muslim narrated the Qudsi hadith wich means "O Muhammad, if I decree a matter, My Will does not change." Supplication, charity, performing the prayer and the like do not change the will of Allah. One should not intend by making supplication that Allah would change His eternal decree or His eternal will. If a person pays a certain charity with the intention that this would protect him from a certain hardship, or if a person does any other good deed, he should not have the intention that Allah would change His will because of that. By making supplication, one asks Allah for things to happen, that is, that Allah willed eternally for those things to happen. Moreover, by making supplication, one shows and declares that he is in need of Allah, and also acquires reward for that. If it is answered, the supplication was the reason for the person to get what he wants, and it does not change the will of Allah. This is similar to the case of when the person eats food, which is the reason for him to feel full and does not change the will of Allah. Allah willed for the person to eat and by consequence, to feel full; eating was the reason to get to the feeling and it does not change the will of Allah, just as making supplication was the reason to get what you want without changing The Will of Allah. So if Allah eternally willed for a persons supplication to be answered, then that person would make supplication and he would get what he wanted in accordance with The Will of Allah. This, nor the charity or the like changes the will of Allah.
One of the reasons for the misguidance of the Mu^tazilah and Shi^a is because they mixed the issue of the Will of Allah and His order. The Will of Allah does not follow His order. Not everything that Allah ordered to be done was willed by Allah to come into existence. Allah ordered Ibrahim to slaughter his son Isma^il, but He did not will for that to happen. The Mu^tazilah and Shi^a say that everything that Allah ordered to be done, Allah willed for it.
The Mu^tazilah and Shi^a negated that Allah is the creator of evil. They said that sins and blasphemy do not occur by the will of Allah. They referred to the saying of Allah that means "Allah does not do injustice to the slave". This doesn't mean that Allah did not will for the slave to be unjust. Allah knew that the slave would commit blasphemy by his own choice before He created him, and H e willed for him to do that blasphemy.
The Mu^tazilah and Shi^a said that the one who willed for evil to exist is evil himself. The answer of the people of truth is that the bad thing is to acquire the evil deed; to be attributed with it. Although Allah willed for the slave to do the bad deeds, Allah did not acquire the bad deeds. The ugly thing is for someone to acquire the bad deed and to be attributed with it. Had it been the case that willing the existence of a bad matter is bad, then willing for the existence of the pigs, apes and devils would have been judged as bad, but we agree that Allah is The Creator of the pigs, apes and devils.
There is no correlation between the will, and love and acceptance. The scholars of Ahlu-s-Sunnah used that to refute the blasphemers among the Shi^a.
Everything that Allah knew would happen, Allah willed for it to happen. This is a base among the basics of belief.
Anyone who contradicts the aforementioned; anyone who says that the evil or the bad deeds occur without the will of Allah would be judged as a blasphemer because such a saying attributes weakness to Allah.
If a Mu^tazilah or Shi^a person admits that Allah eternally knew everything that would happen, then he would discredit himself, as stated by Imaam Ash-Shaafi^iyy. This was also stated by Abu Hanifah, but he gave more detail. He said that our debate with the Mu^tazilah is focused around two matters. We ask him if Allah eternally knew what the slave would do before he does it or not? If he says no, then he committed blasphemy. If he says yes, then we ask him if Allah willed for something contrary to what He knew. If he says yes, then he attributed ignorance to Allah and thus commits blasphemy. If he says no, then he agrees with us. They are saying that Allah willed for himself to be ignorant; that He willed for things that are contrary to what He eternally knew. This is why the strong scholars did not hesitate to call the Mu^tazilah and the Shi^a who shared their belief kuffaar.
Anyone who claims that Allah willed for the slaves to be obedient, but actually they are disobedient, this person is claiming that the Will of Allah is not fulfilled, and that the Will of Allah is overcome by the will of the creature. This is blasphemy, as explicitly mentioned by The Prophet (^Alayhi-s-Salaam), Ibn ^Abbaas, Ibn ^Umar, Al-Awzaa^iyy, Maalik, Abu Yusuf, and others.
Some do not understand that the person would not be able to do the good deeds except by the guidance and help of Allah. This is the meaning of La Hawla Wa La Quwwata Illa Billah. It means No one can avoid sinning except by the protection of Allah, and no one would be able to do the good deeds except by the help of Allah. This interpretation is narrated by Abu Ya^laa from the Prophet (^Alayhi-s-Salaam) with a sa hi h chain in his book Al-Musnad.
Alhamdulillah, I praise, glorify, and thank Allah the All-Mighty first for his blessings upon us (this Ummah) and upon mankind. I send the salaat and salaams upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (salla allahu alaihi wa sallaam) and I ask for peace, mercy and blesings for his family, the companions, those who followed them and upon all those who are striving in the path of righteousness until the last day, the last hour ameen.
