Valinda grew up singing gospel and has been singing in front of a live audience/congregation since the age of 8.She is currently working and collaborating with producers on her debut album that has not yet been titled. The album will have an array of R&B club banging tracks, Neo soul, and Jazz. She is a songwriter who enjoys writing songs with deep meanings and strong messages. Valinda admires artists that sing songs with messages that people can relate to and understand. Valinda is a singer, songwriter, model and fashion designer. God has blessed her with many talents.She has experience as a spokes model/host. Valinda has worked on a local video show in San Diego call “Rhythms†where she interviewed various recording artists, celebrities, actor’s etc.Valinda has done professional modeling and has been featured in the live in Jamaica issue of Smooth girl magazine "06 issue as well as their December 05 issue (rear view page). She is also the cover girl for a calendar called Image and Stylez which is available for purchase now. Her modeling experience includes runway, print work as well as promotional modeling.She has started her own clothing line called Mariama. She specializes in clothing for curvaceous a woman that hugs in all the right places, but fits comfortably. When Valinda is not tied up with her other duties of studio recording, modeling and making guest appearances.
