About Me

First, let me start off by thanking the Creator for another day and another opportunity to be the best that I can be. Originally from Philly now living in the Bay Area. I'm a makeup artist and hairstylist which has been a curse and a blessing. The curse being wanting every face and every head to be perfect, but what is perfection and who is the judge? The blessing is the ability to create a platform to bring forth that inner beauty to the surface. By listening to what isn't being said to me by my client and transforming them into that alter that they have been wanting to become for a long time. I also have three companies that I'm very proud of, Faces by Morris & McMillian is a freelance hair & makeup team which I started in 2005 with my partner Dana McMillian. We do every type of hair and makeup that is fitting for the occassion. Then there is MTM Models & MTM Productions with partner Monica Obelton. MTM & MTM Productions was establish to give aspiring models & dancers the proper training and skill set for them to become a respected professional in the industry. Our models are trained in runway & print sizes range from petite to plus.Some of our dancers have already have performed with the hottest Bay Area artist in hip hop & neo soul. Then, there is Nouveau Empezar Productions, which consist of spoken word poetry, jazz & neo soul artist. I'm very proud and honored to have some very talented artist involved with my company. Artist associated with Nouveau Empezar includes spoken word artist, Kinara, Poetic Bliss, Chocolate Sistah, The Tonesetter (who also is a talented vocalist) jazz artist Al Lazard, jazz trio One Love & neo soul Acid Reign. I recently had the pleasure to work with two up & coming talents in the Bay Area. Designer Aralyn Stallings, founder & CEO of "Masterpieces" & vocalist Deja Bryson & her band "Sky". These two sistahs are going to be heard from in a big way! Remember, you heard it hear first. As an artist & as a man I'm constantly triving for that perfection that I envision but more importantly I always will remain true to myself. With all the dysfunctional traps that surround us everyday, knowing that my purpose for being here is center in the ability to create and to articulate what I feel.

The last book I read was "Beloved" by Toni Morrison. Most of my reading is hair & makeup literature, The Quran & The Bible.

All of the people mention in the section who "I'd Like To Meet" because they sacrifice so you & I could have a voice. my parents, my children because they make me not give up when things are hard.
