I hate conflict (some people call it "drama") and I always do everything within my power to avoid it. Does that make me sound wimpy? No. At least my blood pressure is normal and I'm still alive. I'm alive to bring joy into other people's lives. If I can make another person smile, even just a little bit, I feel I've succeeded.
I do tend to be direct and speak my mind, but nothing I say is meant to be offensive, insulting or hurtful so please don't take it that way. It's not easy to be PC 100% of the time, but I sure as hell would never intentionally speak maliciously about or to anyone. That's for sure. That's just rude.
That being said, I want you all to know that I am really a compassionate man.
I'm not here to solve problems, but I will listen.
I can offer sympathy and nothing more. Because I am very direct and want to avoid conflict, I won't offer advice about personal problems. There is nothing that says my advice would be right. We are each individuals. What I might think will work for me may not necessarily work for you, so I will not be held responsible for bad advice.
