Jenn's love of the written word started the year she was given her first diary and Nancy Drew novel. Throughout her teenage years, she continued to keep a diary of her personal thoughts and feelings. She graduated from Nancy Drew to other mystery suspense novels, mostly Mary Higgins Clark. Eventually finding a few authors, she truly loves: John Sandford, Lee Child, David Baldacci, Alex Kava, JR Ward. She also found inspiration among the writers of the past-both English and American.
She became an avid reader of several genres over the years but her passion for writing never fully took hold until she finished her first fan-fiction in the late 90's. She continued to write poems and short stories, until the idea for Play Nice popped into her head. The idea, which initially started out as another short story, expanded and grew more complex. When the work was completed, Jenn had her first novel length manuscript.
The experience with Play Nice was an eye opener and the book sold a decent number of copies with little advertising help from the publisher. However, it fueled her passion for writing and she embarked on a new dream: to write for a living.
Her first major sale has been a Science-Fiction/Fantasy dyad to Writers of Worlds, LTD in the UK. The book is slated for publication in the fall of 2007.
Jenn's next project is finding an agent and finishing the third book(!) of her newest Romantic/Thriller series.
