Be yourself and know yourself to be

About Me

I grew up in a LeSueur, a small town nestled in the Minnesota River Valley of southern Minnesota. Currently, I live in Charlotte where I am pursuing my Master's degree in English Lit at the University of North Carolina. I also work parttime (via remotely) for a small Minneapolis based company specializing in computer training materials.
The company I work for, CustomGuide
A strong spirit of adventure flows through my blood, continually driving me to seek new, exciting, and amusing experiences. While meeting new people is a thrill for me, I remain intensely loyal to my friends and family.
My family
I have a wide variety of interests and am deeply passionate about life.
My Paternal and Maternal Lineage
”If we start believing in a world that could be a better place, then that’s the first step towards making it that way.” -Simon Le Bon
Despair is self-fulfilling; we must continue to hope because, by keeping open the possibility of a better future, hope releases the imaginative and creative powers that are the only means of achieving that end.
"Beauty is Truth, Truth is Beauty. That is all ye know on Earth and all ye need to know" - John Keats
"...The biggest dreams can still come true." - Bret "The Hitman" Hart
"Whatever you do, do well, and may success attend your efforts."
Some of my favorite places are:
Riverside, Minneapolis, Minnesota
Dingle, Donegal, Ireland
San Francisco, California
Prague, Czech Republic
Birmingham, West Midlands, England
Siena, Tuscany, Italy
New Orleans, Louisiana
Vienna, Austria
Merida, Yucatan, Mexico

I'd like to meet:

Being that I'm new to the Charlotte area and don't know too many people here yet, I'd love to use myspace to meet new friends in the area. Overall however, I'm always eager to meet anyone with a good heart, an interesting personality, or a fun sense of humor. People with similar interests are of course, a bonus.
