2 Fat DJs 2 Fat DJs Updated Bio 25/02/082 Fat DJs came together in early 2007 when Chris Archibald and Dan Anderson decided to unleash a fresh approach on the DJ with the motto “4 arms are better than 2â€. While most duos go mix for mix, Dan and Chris will be right in there trying to create the most creative and visually exciting sets they can. This lead to the establishment of their unique DJ style known as the “Tandem Technique. Mixing a unique blend of styles they have quickly established themselves as one of the emerging acts to come out of the ultra-competitive Perth music dance scene. They have become regulars at the weekly Fuzz gigs put on at the Como hotel, often being the headliners for these shows. They have also supported some of the best in the business including acts such as Chris Carter, Bitrock, John Course and Craig Obey to their list. The 2 Fat DJs are also known in underground circles as the DJs to hire for your next dance party, where they will often put on eight to ten hour sets for the delicious groovers. Rather than feel that they have moved past this, they never get tired of trying out new mixes on unsuspecting partygoers. On the production front they are never idle, often creating their own remixes to drop into their sets as well as truly original material. Their last underground release “Top Gear†has become one of the most played songs on new music websites, such as UK website Carbon Logic. Plays on this site saw the 2 Fat Ones sit at the number one most played spot for two straight months, and now are cemented as the 2 most played song of all time and counting. 2008 sees the duo add to their arsenal by finishing two new tracks locked and loaded for release.
