Hiphop, style & masks.OntFront is a masked hiphop party that represents the unique and style-conscious Amsterdam hiphop scene. The name is a corrupted, half- English, half-Dutch term which is a pun on the American art of 'fronting', which means acting tough, wearing a front. Ontfront is the flipside of it, it's saying: be positive.OntFront was born on Halloween 2005 and retuned monthly with DJ Edzon, MC Sranang and acts like Winne and J-Live from NYC (who made the OntFront anthem ONE). OntFront won the third prize on the Prixdenuit (best night initiative of Amsterdam) and was nominated for best hiphop party by the Gouden Greep awards.
