The Black Disco Bust was founded in Amsterdam by San Proper in 1999 to maintain, uphold and preserve the true spirit of Disco-music. It has been initiated because no other organisation or clubnight in town really represented this essential part of musical history full on.The Black Disco Bust has been situated in clubs like Mazzo, Bitterzoet, 11 and is currently partying in the Sugar Factory.The Bust has turned out to be a true necessity for the Dutch clubscene and abroad. It presented a bunch of local Disco-talent as well as international super-heroes to bring out their Disco-love and confronted the people with the effect of playing Disco-music for 8 hours non-stop. Some of the most memorable editions were featured by guru's like Daniel Wang, Alton Miller, Antal & All-Out-K, Trus'Me, Melon, Kalabrese, Tom Trago, Dj Ed & the It, Jay Davu, Frodo, Dim Browski, Carlton the Problem-child, D-Mars, Tiago, Riskid, Edgarage, Cremola-baby, Vikter Duplaix, Wannabe-a-Star & Miss B-have, Steven de Peven & Aardvarck, Rekick & Cinnaman, Lyrical Tie and BEHANG!
