Before Furiuz Stylez was officially formed in 1999, Tan-Man, Golly, DJ Savage and L.G.M. have been brothers from different mothers roaming through Cuijk Noord Valuwe together for years. All of them were already doing their own musical thing, but their collective love for hip-hop eventually caused them coming together as F.S.
In 1999 Furiuz Stylez dropped the ‘Hoeizzinauw’ demotape on which they proved that they wouldn’t limit their self to one style or language. The tape, which consisted Dutch, English and Malaysian raps, was received on a positive tip wherever it was dropped. This resulted in a collaboration with Extince in 2000 on the track ‘Dutch Touch’. This multi-lingual track can be found on Prince Extince’s album ‘Vitamin E’.
In 2000 the Dutch DJ scene got bumrushed by a whirlwind called DJ Savage. Savage brought new sounds and skillz to the mainstream audience. In that same year he went home with all the rookie prizes and in 2003 he ruled the ones and twos all over the place. In 2003 he also won the DMC championship and the I.T.F. Benelux. The following year, 2004, he was representative for the Netherlands at the DMC world finals in London, United Kingdom, and at the I.T.F. world finals in München, Germany.
The Furiuz Stylez’ website was launched in 2004 and caused their name to spread rapidly. The hard underground track ‘Kepala Batu’ is now a classic amongst the Moluccan population in the Netherlands. ‘Furiuz Grimez’ is another track which has turned out to have mad potential and several radio stations have already put it on the air.
In 2006 Furiuz Stylez released 2 video’s, one for ‘Kepala Batu’ and another one in cooperation with Masters of the Game™ named ‘Panna Punchlinez’, on the videostation ‘The Box’. Both these video’s were received positively. Making Furiuz Stylez the first act, which had 2 video’s in the top 10 at the same time. The following period was all about rockin’shows and television- and radio-performances, and ofcourse recording in the studio. These studio sessions resulted in the new mixtape called ‘Beter laat…Dan nooit’ (Its better to come late… Then not at all). This mixtape is a selection of various tracks which they recorded the last few years and its to give all the listeners a look into the world of Furiuz Stylez in preparation to the album, coming somewhere this year. So get ready and prepare yourself ‘cause Furiuz Stylez is coming to spark some shit up!
