Hello everyone! I am an often silly, easy going, stubborn, willful, hard working woman who loves great company and delicious red wine. I tend to have a bossy demeanor at times but I am also very loving.
My hobbies include listening to music, reading, writing, dancing, video gaming, art, movies, psychology and philosophy. This little corner of the Net has been taken by moi to meet new friends, keep in touch with current friends and get in touch with some old ones.
I've also become part of the COMA team. COMA is an online music magazine based in Tampa Bay, Florida covering various forms of underground music and the culture surrounding it. The content includes interviews, CD reviews, and photography. COMA is covering The Bay area as well as select events around the U.S.
COMA was originally founded by J. Ward of j. ward photography in 2000 and was abandoned six months later due to lack of support. Then in October 2006 with the help of Adam Burton, COMA was revived and started doing live interviews and concert photography. COMA's goal is to expose underground music and culture to the masses, to create a magazine which merges underground and mainstream music.
If anyone is interested in an interview, having a CD or concert reviewed, please visit us at http://coma-online.com. Also, if you haven't checked out our eZine, what the hell are you waiting for? Get over there! You can contact me there via email as well (nosfera@coma-online.com).
It is time for me to be off to reality. I look forward to talking with you. I thoroughly enjoy discussing differences of opinion with some intelligent people. Discussing like-mindedness can even make for some interesting conversation. I'm not too proud to admit when I do not understand something and enjoy learning new things. I am very open minded. Learning is the key to life.

...I had to put this in here. The video is pretty chuckle-house inducing. I thought it creative and the songs not half bad, either!

My Interests

I'm into the industrial/goth scene and sometimes venture out to the local club here called "The Castle" in downtown Tampa's Ybor City. The environment is the perfect place to unwind and dance the night away with a good drink in your hand and plenty of interesting people.

Video games are the shiznit! I'm a fan of MMORPG's and have played WoW, CoV, EVE, Hellgate London and a few others...but am a WoW fan. Others just couldn't match up. Console games I'm into are Final Fantasy, Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter, Resident Evil, Silent Hill and several others. PC games I enjoy are GTA, Torment, Warcraft III and a few others. I never go anywhere without my DS and am playing Portrait of Ruin right now.
Currently playing World of Warcraft...again. Lolz

Also enjoy watching quality anime...such as:

I'd like to meet:

If I could choose amongst the living and dead?Dead: Albert Einstein, Henry Miller, Jesus, Adolf Hitler, William Shakespeare and Benjamin Franklin.Alive: Ronan Harris, Hillary Clinton, Aria Giovanni, Keanu Reeves and Adrian Hates.

I'd like to meet others who enjoy having a good time, are light hearted, have some things in common with me, are open minded to differences and able to accept that difference. People who are intelligent and have interesting opinions. I enjoy having intellectual arguments and learning from others as they learn from me. Others that know how to laugh, especially at themselves. We are all human and make mistakes.

Negative things about me, or things that people have seen as negative traits: I have a low tolerance for selfishness, total indifference, emotion or action without purpose, extremists, righteousness, chosen ignorance, shallowness and animal abuse.

YO! 3 A JESUS!

Music:

It is always about the music. Honestly my favorite topic is music, if it is listening to it or discussing music choices with others. My love is Industrial, Synth-Pop, EBM, Goth, Darkwave and some Techno.

Listen to some of my favorites here:

Music I cannot seem to tolerate as well as others and honestly drives me batty is rap, hip hop, r&b and country. People, please stop sending me invites to your bands if they fall into these four categories. I will not, by choice, turn on those types of music.

I probably forgot quite a few and will most likely continue adding. If I put them all on here I wouldn't have any time to be social.

Movies:

I am a movie fanatic. Went to see Spiderman III and loved it, though was disappointed with the ending. Could have ended better. More Venom! I'll always be a Spiderman fan. The movies aren't going to change it. Nerdy Peter Parker can climb into my bed anytime. Being wrapped up in his web doesn't sound like a terrible plan. Tell me emo Peter didn't look hot! I dare you! And I'll know you for the liar that you are! You are just in denial.
Movies I've found really enjoyable are:
Pan's Labyrinth
Fight Club
V is for Vendetta
Primer (Indy)
Pulp Fiction
Saw
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Lord of the Rings
Harry Potter
Indiana Jones
The Matrix
Sin City
Men In Tights
Robin Hood
Platoon
Behind Enemy Lines
Black Hawk Down
Alien
Die Hard
Underworld
Green Mile
The Princess Bride
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Shakespeare In Love
The Wizard of Oz
Legend
Moulin Rouge
Tu Wang Fu
Momento
Silence of the Lambs
Se7en
The Shining
Kill Bill
Finding Nemo
Gladiator
Stand By Me
IT
Reservoir Dogs
Crash
The Sixth Sense
Stigmata
Schindler's List
Saving Private Ryan
Full Metal Jacket
The Exorcist
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
The Others
Dracula
Donnie Darko
Steel Magnolia
Sleepers
American Beauty
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Preditor
Serenity
Twelve Monkeys
Young Frankenstein
Black Sheep
The Last Samari
Billy Madison
The Fifth Element
I am sure I missed quite a few. Thrillers and horror flicks are my favorites but I love movies that make you think afterwards (Primer one that leaves you thinking "What the hell did I just watch?").

Television:

I never have been big on television and currently don't even watch it at home unless it is DVRed. I loved Dark Angel, Angel, Invader Zim, Charmed, Smallville, 24, Heroes, Dead Like Me and yes I was a Buffy the Vampire Slayer viewer. Most of my favorite television programs I have on DVD. I also like watching The Daily Show and Colbert Report.

You are G.I.R! Your duties are to assist your Irken lord Zim in his mission of doom, to find your next taco and to watch The Scary Monkey Show.

That horrible monkey...

Do de-do de-do
Waffles!

Take The Mighty Invader Zim Test!

Books:

Another of my favorite past times. I really get lost when I am reading a book. If you intend to have a conversation with me be sure that I am not holding one of these things in my hand. Otherwise you will be ignored. Not intentionally of course. I tend to zone everything in the world out when I read.

My favorite book I would have to say is The Stranger bye Albert Camus. I really enjoy books on psychology, science, philosophy, thrillers, scifi and fantasy.

Some of my favorite authors are George R.R. Martin, Robert Jordan, Anne Rice, Stephen King, Henry Miller, Charles Baudelaire, William Shakespeare and Albert Camus. I have several others but I would be writing forever here. I am currently reading William Shakespeare Midsummer Night's Dream.

Heroes:

Unless you are referring to fictional characters, I cannot claim to have any one hero. Each person has it in him to be heroic. I have admiration for those who can brave their fears. I worship no person as a hero. Being a hero is only doing what needs to be done despite overwhelming odds and overcoming fear. Some just do it in the public eye.No one is perfect. Everyone has their own faults. I like people the way they are. Why romanticize it only to build someone up so they can fall? I'd rather keep liking them for the people they are and respecting them for the deed they did instead of watching as the world comes crashing down on them for being human and stumbling once in their natural life. "Great job! Now lets go get a beer and a burger."
