Vanity Dies Hard laid their ground in the year 1999 but the name and direction wasn't decided upon
until the last member joined permanently and the first official demo-EP (Spring Never Came, 2001) was recorded.
Since then the band recorded 3 more demo-EP's (Bone Cabaret, 2002, Make Me Stay, 2003
and Printed To Soothe, 2005) before the debut release "When Torching The Day" took place in 2006.
The band themselves refer to their music as "unpretentious progressive metal",
wich probably is the best way to describe it.
