About Me

BiographyEerik's musical journey began on an early age.Together with Mixomaz (Kevin) he discovered electronic dance music somewhere in the 90's.They decided to buy two record players and a mixer and started blending the music themselves. In these early days they had the chance to play in a small afterclub called 'Jail's Club'. While Kevin went his own way by playing in clubs like 'The Promised Land', 'Carat' etc.., Eerik got more and more into the underground stuff... Somewhere around '96 Eerik met Ohmzz (Bart Ooms), a techno dj who played the hard stuff in clubs like Zazou and at party's in germany. A few years later while Kevin had his weekly spot @ Red&bleu in Antwerp and Bart was studying at the SAE-institute in Amsterdam, Eerik got his residency @ Barumba ,a small alternative club in the city of Lier. There he met Stijn-Jasper, founder of the famous Funkyou! Party's. In that time Eerik also played at a number party's in club Zazou (Punk'id, Pink, Superfly, GoodTimes, Soiree Deluxe...) And so he ended up playing at several Funkyou! party's. In the meanwhile Eerik,Ohmzz and Mixomaz started a weekly internet radioshow called 'modulations'.A 2 hour show with mixes from themselves and geusts like ; Kurt(K-records), Iver(Stain), Jan van Biesen(StuBru)... Bart finished his studies at SAE and back in belgium Eerik and Ohmzz decided to team up and play back to back... The first party the played at was Muzzic(Vooruit Gent)on Nye... Since that time Eerik and Ohmzz continued their musical journey on their own way. They decided to go producing... Due the hard work and lac of time of both Eerik&Ohmzz they now have finally found the time to put their creative minds together and work on their projects...To be continued...
