Music, Reading, Eating food, Making food, Buying food, Cake (sponge with icing is best) oh and people.
PEOPLE!!!!
..
Oh where to start....for the sake of coherency, clarity and to save me typing for too long: most jazz (heroes would include: Betty Carter, Carmen McRae, Ella, Dinah Washington, Chet Baker,), most classical: (Romantic-20th Century music: Debussy, Ravel, Gurney, Barber, Vaughan-Williams, Tippett), some pop, some R'n'B, a little folk, a little indie/rock, a little gospel.
Clueless, Shawshank Redemption (liked the novella too), Superman(all of them except IV what can I say I thought Christopher Reeve was a God!!) Enemy of the State, Charade, Donnie Darko, The Incredibles,The Mirror has Two Faces, Gosford Park, An Ideal Husband, Lucky Number Slevin. I like entertaining trash, and happy endings...most of the time
24 can't get enough of it, Lost, Countdown, This Morning X-Factor (car-crash TV, excellent viewing) I'm almost ashamed to write this but...Sunset Beach (I don't know why I just really liked it, again it's quality car crash TV) I probably watch way too much of it!!
The Time Traveller'S Wife (Read it it's the best thing you could do!!) Just about anything by Jennifer Cruisie, Janet Evanovich books, but only the Stephanie Plum series, Mike Gayle's books are good, particularly Brand New Friend. Anyone who's had a friendship with the opposite sex that's almost crossed the line (when it shouldn't have)will be able to relate
Any woman who has given birth, my mum, Betty Carter, Anita O'Day, Arch bishop Desmond Tutu, Freddie James, Janet Evanovich, Eddy Arnold for giving us that song, Bobby Watson for giving us that tune and of course...Spiderman,
