Originally trained as a classical singer/flautist I happened across the Leeds University Union Dance Band while at University. For the three years I was with them I not only had a great time singing "jazz" but I also learnt valuable lessons like...Don't drink copious amounts before a gig, engage your brain before you speak into a mike and never ever go to a gig by yourself if you can help it (terrible sense of direction) One thing became clear; I wasn't happy unless I was singing, so I did a post grad course thingy at Trinity College of Music (studying jazz) and here I am. I can't say I'm amazing but I am having fun so I'll probably stick at it for a while see if I can make a living out of it.The songs on this site are either covers or arrangements of musical numbers, pop songs, and jazz standards.
