CURRENT MOON lunar phaseAbout me, OK, well, I get bored easily so like to be doing lots of different things and meeting lots of different people. I enjoy travelling and seeing new places and cultures. I lived & worked in California for 16 months going on safari in Kenya was one of the most amazing experiences that I've ever had.I love food - Mexican, West Indian and Thai are my most favourites. Apart from chocolate of course! I love going to Spain to visit friends & rellies. I love the Spanish people, they really know how to party and have a fiesta every week - or so it seems! I'm learning to speak Spanish, trouble is my accent keeps coming out a bit Bristolian - "awreet my luvver!"I've been Reiki attuned for nearly two years. Reiki is an amazing healing energy and I feel a lot's changed for me since I started practising.I went to the University of the West of England as a mature student. I had a great 3 yrs there and graduated with an Honours degree.I've done a multitude of jobs - club manager to cabin crew, travel agent to sales rep.I love writing. I used to write for a couple of local mags covering the music scene, reviews, interviewing bands, DJ's etc. I also loved working in local radio. I produced and presented my own World Music show a couple of years ago and did some freelance reporting for Radio Bristol.Unfortunatly, I've not been able to work for a while as an old spinal injury means that I suffer severe chronic lower back pain. Which is a bummer, but it has led me to changing my life in lots of positive ways and brought lots of complimentary therapies into my life.I also swim regularly, do yoga and volunteer at the local animal shelter. Oh yes, and I like sleeping!

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.
