IT'S LONG WINDED i know BUT THIS IS ME
I must impress on who ever reads these words that this is an account of me in a relatively indepth style. If you've got the patience, then please enjoy this written version of me.
A creative mind is an open mind, atleast that's what I believe. I am fortunate enough to be gifted with some art talent, and the skills I use for art are similar (if not the same) as the skills I use in social everyday life.
I really do believe that we are complex beasts, and with a little time and commitment we can unlock those barriers (or walls) that separate us from each other. What I'm really trying to say is that judgement of a books cover will limit you.
I apply such thought practice to art that I come into contact with. I don't always understand it, but I try to look beyond its surface dressing. Hence a favourite saying of mine, to look is to see.
Aside from all the artsy talk, I'm a man of peace. Heavy disputes can be overcome with rational discussion, in my opinion. If heated emotional aggression are the only tools apparent for solving a conflict, then it's best to part ways, simmer down, and perhaps tackle the same subject another, calmer time. Yes, I know that's easier said than done, because we are all (at the end of the day) emotional creatures, but to strive for peace (atleast) is a foot on the path to enlightenment.
No I'm not religious, I just favour talking over shouting. I shy away from gratuitous aggression. I think it's important to stand your ground, and defend those who can't always defend themselves (within reason), but I also feel it is crucial to give a wide berth to repressive, depressive (is that a word?) regimes that have no true relevance or bearing on human life.
I love art, my favoured style is comic book art, I was at one time a freelance illustrator, but failed to make that work as a business.
I love music, I frequented many parties some years ago on quite a regular basis. Free parties, warehouse parties, house parties, outdoors in a field parties, fetish parties, you name it. I'm all burnt out from that now, but still love the occasional shuffle, although the venues I attend are a result of quality selection.
I like lots of dance music: drum and bass/jungle, house, trip hop, breakbeats, trance etc, then throw into the mix reggae, jazz, folk (some folk) etc. I can't list all my tastes, because as I type, my mind is throwing up a blank, but I believe that my musical interests are wide and fairly diverse.
Ok, I think that's enough about myself now. I am very impressed by the scope of this site by the way, and hope to interact with a varied and ecclectic cast of people out there. MyGen Profile Generator
