About Me

THE OFFICIAL DARLENA TEJEIRO MYSPACE PAGE. Darlena of Cuban American decent, was born and raised in Union City, N.J. She first studied acting at City University of New York and then at the Lee Strasberg Institute. Soon after she landed a contract role as Anita Santos, in the long running daytime drama "ALL MY CHILDREN". What followed was a move to Los Angeles in pursuit of more television and movie roles. It didn't take long before she guest starred on NBC's CROSSING JORDAN. Soon other shows followed, including NYPD BLUE, LAS VEGAS, STRONG MEDICINE , NIP/TUCK, EVE, CRIMINAL MINDS, MEDIUM, and the pilot SOCCER MOMS for ABC. She recently appeared in the new hit UGLY BETTY also for ABC. Her film work includes the movie "COMPANY MAN" starring Woody Allen and John Turturro, Lions Gates picture SUENO with John Leguizamo, and "STARSKY AND HUTCH" starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. She can also be seen in the movie "STRAIGHT JACKET", written and directed by Richard Day. She shares the screen this summer with Adam Sandler and Kevin James in the new movie "I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY". Darlena is also a proud Lifetime member of "THE ACTORS STUDIO."

My Interests

Travel, salsa dancing, working on my craft, eating, laughing, a good glass of wine, Barry's Boot Camp, studying at "The Actors studio", playing with my dogs...Jilska and Phoenix. I Love Animals...Dog's cats, birds..you name them...I love All of them....
