North of Malibu is an emerging instrumental surf band from Northern California. The band started back in the Fall of 2003 with a different line-up as "2 Car Garage" (in you guessed it, George's garage) Then the band was renamed "North of Malibu" in April of 2004 as a tribute to the Southern California roots of Surf Music.
We were fortunate enough to have Paul and Rick join us during this last year and our sound is really coming together nicely. We've been growing our set list, playing tunes that we love, and enjoying the hell out of ourselves.
