I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I love God and want to do everything in my life to please Him. People ask me what I want to do when I get older. I truly don't care if I'm a billionaire, on stage at the Oscars receiving one for best director, or if I am living in Highland Park and volunteering with the Red Cross. As long as I am sure that what I am doing with my life fits exactly in that little groove that God created just for me and that not one other person throughout all of history ever had the chance to fill, that is exactly where I want to be and I will be grateful to be there.
People ask me, "Do you think the world is inherently bad with little dots of goodness, or inherently good with little dots of badness?" My answer tended to fluctuate on this question depending on my circumstances at the time of being asked. Then I found clarity in the strangest of places - my 14 year old sister, Sarah. I asked her, out of pure curiosity and without any tinge of philosophical vamping, "Hey Sarah, is a zebra a black animal with white stripes, or a white animal with black stripes." Sarah is a horse lover/owner you see. She replied, "It's both." She went on to explain that the actual skin of the animal is two different colors with corresponding hair color in each section. I had this extreme "A-ha!" moment and had to pause because of the profundity of it all. I kissed Sarah and called her a genious. She had no clue what the heck I was talking about.
