Myspace BackgroundsIn 1972 E.E. Pressley's long time dream began to come true when he got the opportunity to be a gofer for two old time projectionists at The Apollo Theatre in Buffalo, New York. Acquiring their skills, Pressley got his first introduction into being involved with the entertainment business. The Apollo Theatre occasionally had live entertainment and one of the most memorable artists he got to meet backstage was James Brown the hardest working man in show business really "Made His Mark".######In the following years Pressley became an entrepreneur involved in night club promotions which led to his friendship with Rick James and later as his Personal Road Manager and Chief of Security.######1978 they left Buffalo for Hollywood CA. on an impressive music ride where he met many of the wonderful entertainers and business minds of the times from Berry Gordy, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and the very young Teena Marie.######Pressley spent many hours in the recording and production studios with these and numerous of other artists learning the skills of the entertainment business.######I980 Pressley returned to the movie projectionist business in Los Angeles with Local #150 to finance song and lyric writing skills.######1986 Pressley built his first digital recording studio that helped to launch L.A. Midi Consultants.######A digital music, technical and production company owned by Leonardo Jones. This introduced Pressley to the recording sessions of legends Ray Charles and Michael Jackson to name a few.######1989 Pressley worked with recording artist, producer "Kashif", assisting in many facets of his entertainment empire, the UCLA Extension program, lyric writing, audio editing, music pre-production, book publishing, distribution, sells, packaging, shipping, seminars, banking and music business consulting. During this time Kashif wrote the book "Everything you'd Better Know about the Record Industry" and The Brooklyn Boy Books Company was born. Kashif's career to date has sold over 70 million records.######In 2000 Pressley was an assistant for Kevin Black, Vice President of Rap and R&B at Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records a National Marketing and Promotion giant, who assisted in the Multi-Platinum success of Eminem, Eve, Dr. Dre, Jadakiss and 50 cent.######2003 Pressley created children books entitled The Pressley Collection Series for Handprintz and still he works as a projectionist for private estates and studio screenings. He loves this line of work, it enable him to stay in personal contact in the homes of entertainers George Clooney, Brian Grazer, Rod Stewart, Ben Affleck, Jarl Mohn, Jerry Zucker, Mark Wahlberg, Irv Azoff, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Richard and Daphna Ziman.######Pressley is currently working on projects with Toonz World / Talentzville creator Delain Roberts and Star Camp / The Giggle Club creator Sean McNair.######E.E. Pressley a lyricist, poet, author, songwriter, music producer and a true innovator with more than 30 years of experience on many levels of the entertainment business.
