My name is Adrienne (AJ) but my granny name is Mertle the Turtle and i have created this Myspace dedicated to Granny's Gaff. In the first year (2005) i was called upon by a good friend of mine called Jason or Grandad as we like to call him, to form a group of grannies to work at Lovebox festival and it was to be called Granny's Gas. We continued with this throughout the summer doing various festivals such as Lost Vagueness, Phatbull, Bestival etc. And the story continues as the next year (2006) year... we became Grannys Preparations in which we started the summer at Fish seeks bicycle and lovebox and finally our most recent festival which was at Secret Garden and we expanded into teas, cakes, coffees aswell....so granny will prepare you in various ways! But whilst doing this we became more acting orientated and focused on entertaining people and adding even more fun to the wonderful festival environment. The concept is a comical as one wouldn't normally see a granny selling and being completely dotty at a festival. And i must point out that we are not poking fun at grannys we are merely honouring them for their fantastic character traits and dress senses! We provide a first class service and we are always for hire should you want something truely different and unique and at any event!
