Hey! My name's Lulu, I've been spinning poi for almost a year, fire poi for about 8 months and I LOVE it!
It's such an amazing feeling having the fire spin past your head, feeling the heat from them and feeling your heart race at times!
I'm improving all the time and love to learn new moves. I've recently learned how to do BTB 3 beat weave, forward and backwards and i've now just learned to move from the forward move into the backward move...pretty cool, got practice it a bit tho, i still keep whacking my legs occasionally!!
I'm currently learning to do the 5 beat weave...steff's teaching me!

I've only been spinning for a month or two but i LOVE IT!! ive actually grown arm muscles since i've been doing it aswell!! Just recently started spinning with fire and its absolutely brilliant. its kind of relaxing and cuts you off from everything thats going on around you and i like the fact that even though you love it and its beautiful it still scares the hell out of you [even though there's no reason to be afraid] I wouldn't mind learning staff or devil sticks but i can't do either so i'm going to give it another go when I'm better at poi!!

I've been spinning for almost a year now, I find it to be a great calming tool. I recently got my girlfriend into it (Steff) and she's already better than me, guess I need to work harder.I love using fire poi as I can create my own little world that I stand in the middle of and while I'm spinning nothing on the outside exists. Want to learn staff, used to do it as a kid because I love kung fu movies, but never taken it up properly....yet!
