body {cursor: urlI'm in the progress of getting my 1st book published called, "Living with Victory After Past Mistakes." In my book I shared some mistakes that I've made and mistakes made by others towards me.I was inspired to write this book for my son.Accomplishments ================================================ Louise Bannerman Published Writer / Motivational Speaker / Poet.2004 ¨Poem, “Sex is like Music”, published in the “Party-er Guide”2003 ¨Wayne County Community College - Continuing Education (Creative Writing Course.)¨Second Baptist Church for Spiritual Writing Classes. Four poems published in their Anthology entitled “Characteristics of God” Volume 1.¨Recited two poems at Metro Club in Royal Oaks¨Recited two poems at Second Baptist 2nd Annual Art Show.(2003) ¨Recited one poem at the 1st Annual Poetry Workshop given by the “Called and Ready Writers”(2003) ¨I am currently an assistant for a Spiritual Writing Course sponsored by the Castle Group at Gaylord Unity Church. (Ongoing-to-present).¨Taught visualization workshop at Jesus Tabernacle of Deliverance Church. (2002)2001 ¨First place winner for Toastmasters Humor Speech. (2001)(1996-1998) ¨Attended Wayne State Labor Studies and had one poem published in their book of Anthology entitled “Working Words” Labor School Class of 1998.(1982) ¨Winner of Judges Awards- First Place for my essay entitle “What is a Friend?” The essay was published in an Anthology with other winners.(1982) ¨President, Creative Writing Club - Cass Technical High School.(1982) Other ¨Gave Graduation Speeches for the following school, institutions and training programs:Norvell Elementary School (1980); Pelham Middle School (1982); Community Training & Development Corporation (1991); Project Lead (1994); Detroit Business Institution (1995).¨Gave Career Day presentation for following schools and received certificates and awards for my participation:Paul Roberson Academy; Priest Elementary School; Fisher Magnet Middle School; Winship Middle School; John R. King; Kosciusko Elementary; and Fredrick Douglass, Edward Cerveny Middle School (03).MembershipsToastmasters – (1997). “Called and Ready Writers”, and “American Christian Writers”.

My Interests

I like writing, reading, teaching, talking, singing, bowling, exercising, going to the movies and giving massages.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people who can inspire, teach and motivate. Positive people who love life and those who turn lemons into lemonade.Also, Oprah, Denzel and Kevin Costner.

Motivational, inspirational, How-to's, Christian Fiction, and Judy Blume............................................ I write non-fiction, rhyming poetry, christian fiction, inspiration, how-to's, essays, memoirs, narrative short stories with a twist, letters and outlines for my sermons when I minister the Word at the women prison.
