Aerodrum is the band of the songwriter, singer and guitarist Ivo Bättig. In the past, he used to work with different bands like nod, general weed and red rain coat. Apart from many concerts in Switzerland he was touring in England, France, Spain and Germay and he released up to five albums. About five years ago he started working with sequenzer and sampler. As a result of this work AERODRUM was formed. In November 2001 AERODRUM released the first CD. After a successful CD-release-party AERODRUM has given lots of concerts and live performances. At this time AERODRUM just released the second album AERODRUM- virtual anything . The music of AERODRUM is influenced by different styles like brit-pop, rock and folk. Compared to the first album, which was mostly made with sequenzer and sampler, AERODRUM has changed into a band and its music matches with the pop- and rockmusic. Ivo Bättig still uses the computersounds in some songs. It is a mixture between musical past and presence with a forward look to the future. Furthermore there are different styles which are crossing and give the music a touch in its own way. AERODRUM just released the new album arctic sailor at the end of october 2007.
