About Me

Some ten years ago, I stayed in Glasgow/Scotland for nearly a year, which has influenced me a great deal and can probably be heard in what I play (and say :-). It's basically where it all began. It was a song about the squirrels jumping about in Kelvin Grove Park. So I've been into songwriting for a while. Folk-rocky stuff first for my band Glenturret who I've been playing with for some 17 years. But then the longer the more acoustic stuff for myself. ---I like the idea that singer-songwriting (voice and guitar or piano) shows the skeleton of a song and gets to its core. If a song sounds fine like that, it will also sound grand when performed with a band. Not necessarily vice versa but.

I'm still adoring it by the way. :-)
