la Sarà is a vibrant, up-and-coming artist whose rich and powerful voice has the power to captivate audiences. She is based in New York City and is of Italian-American heritage. Her most recent Top 40 CD, "la Sarà " was released in the summer of 2006 through independant label Spunky Girl Records.
Her most recent TV appearance was on the red carpet in the 2007 Columbus Day Parade in Manhattan, which was broadcasted to over 5 million homes in the U.S., Italy, and other European countries. la Sarà has performed live solo shows in Manhattan at venues such as The Cutting Room, Central Park, and The National Arts Club. Other highlights include singing at Carnegie Hall, Manhattan Town Hall, Lincoln Center, and singing back-up with a group to Latin singer Marc Anthony at Madison Square Garden. la Sarà has been interviewed on various television and radio shows such as "The New Yorkers" (TV 26), "The Joey Reynolds Show" (WOR 710 AM), “Good News Broadcastâ€, and TV 7 in Rome, Italy; and has had radio and internet radio airplay in the U.S., Britain, and other European countries.
What sets la Sarà apart is her emotion expression and dynamic energy, which allows her to connect to her audience. Her debut album includes a range of energetic pop up-tempos and extremely sensitive ballads. Influenced by the classic vintage style of the 1950s and 1960s through fashion icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren, la Sarà brings a unique and edgy sense of style to her music. A powerhouse onstage, she draws on musical influences from pop artists like Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, and Taylor Dayne, bringing her own unique interpretation to her music.
