Janaina Lima, profissionalizou-se em Danca aos 15 anos,participando de varios festivais nacionais e internacionais,morou nos EUA em 96 e 97 e como bailarina trabalhou no video-clipe do pop star Prince,quando retornou ao Brasil integrou a Cia de Dancas de Diadema,Raca Cia de Dancas e Quasar Cia de Danca.No ano de 2000 comecou a cantar na Banda de trip-hop Pai Urso,logo apos comecou a fazer participacoes na Banda do Dj Ramilson Maia "Ram Science" de drum and bass,foi o inicio da parceria que gerou o sucesso internacional "Kaleidoscopio" compondo os hits " Tem q Valer" e " Meu Sonho"...Depois de conquistar todo o Brasil,em 2004 surgiu a oportunidade de ir para fora do Brasil,com o selo italiano "Irma Records",
"Voce Me Apareceu" chegou em terceiro lugar nas mais tocadas do verão italiano de 2004,participando de varios festivais,como FestivalBar,Top Of The Tops e tour com grandes radios italianas.Em 2005 surgiu a parceria com a Warner music francesa,onde conquistou o resto da Europa,fazendo uma big tour de 3meses...Nesse tempo tb o album Tem que Valer ganhou o Japão,fazendo shows em casas noturnas japonesas e mega stores como HMV e Tower Records.Em 2006 lancou o projeto "Kaleido" somente no mercado japones,em parcerias com produtores japoneses e o brasileiro Deep Lick.
Tb fez participacoes com a violinista Chieko Kinbara compondo e cantando a faixa "Tudo Vai Mudar" e cantando "Farois Vermelhos" no primeiro CD da banda de rock nacional CORRERIA.Em julho de 2007 nasceu seu primeiro filho "Pedro" e já com o projeto SOLO em mente participou da coletanea " SAMBASS 4 " pela Irma Records com uma música exclusiva " Gente" do grupo brasileiro Samabeat com participação nos vocais de Janaina Lima remixada por Dj Roots e Theego.Em setembro/2007 foi lançado mais um CD KALEIDO "New Session" somente no Japão,com 7 musicas inéditas com letras escritas por Janaina Lima e produzidas por varios produtores japoneses(Cargo - Ryukyudisco - FreeTempo - M-Swift - Jazzida Grande - Elmio )2008 será o ano de estréia de sua carreira SOLO,voltando as pistas do Brasil e do mundo amadurecida,mãe, Janaina Lima lançará seu primeiro trabalho SOLO produzido por Mad Zoo.A faixa "Menino Lindo" é uma amostra do primeiro single a ser trabalhado....
Aguardem.....Janaina Lima, singer, composer, ballerina, choreographer and acrobat, started her career very early. Her interest in dance started when she was four years old and she participated in all the college presentations. Throughout her teens she studied in various schools and various styles from Jazz, Classic Ballet, Gymnastics and Modern Dance.
In 1996 Janaina moved to New York to improve her dance techniques completing courses at the Broadway Dance Center and at the Step on Broadway. Only fifteen days after her arrival she completed a test as a dancer on the video clip "Betcha by Golly Wow" by Prince. Janaina was accepted and danced with Ballerinas from Italy, France and Mexico.
When she returned to Brazil she entered in the Cia de Dança de Diadema (Diadema Dance Company) as Art Educator, mixing dance classes with community care. It was in these classes that Janaina discovered her singing talent. From there she studied performance, voice and corporal percussion. Her first performance was in the Municipal Theatre of São Paulo entitled "Arte de Raiz", directed by Ivonice Satice.
After these series of performances she entered in the Quasar Cia de Dança (Quasar Dance Company) and participated in festivals in Portugal, U.S.A. and Germany.
At the end of 2001 she met DJ and Producer Ramilson Maia and began to sing for him on his Live P.A. project, Ram Science. The link between the two consolidated and in the middle of 2002 the project Kaleidoscópio was born at which moment Janaina turned full time to the profession of Singer and Songwriter.
After that they release the album “Tem Que Valer†in Brasil and 2004 in the entire world with the label IRMA RECORDS occupated the third position on the Italy chart with the hit “ Voce Me Apareceu “.
In the year 2005 Irma Records licensed to the Label UP MUSIC from WARNER MUSIC FRANCE and the Project growed trought all EUROPE.
In this same time IRMA RECORDS JAPAN also release the Tem Que Valer album and the hit was the song “Meu Sonho†, after two times in Tokio doing Tour and Promotion had a lot invite of others japanease artist like the stringer Chieko Kinbara Janaina Lima wrote “ Tudo Vai Mudar “.
2006 release the second album KALEIDO but just to JAPAN with producer by Deep Lick(BR), Robert Sidoli(IT) , I- Deep(JP) and Cargo (JP)
Recently did a featuring singing and write the song “ Momento Bom “ produce by Jazzida Grande (JP) on his new album up coming and singing the song “ Faróis Vermelhos †on the first album of a brasilian rock band CORRERIA.2007-Irma Records released de compilatation "SAMBASS 4" with Janaina Lima on the vocals of " Gente " from Samabeat RMX by Dj Roots and Theego.SEptember/2007 - Released exclusive in Japan the album KALEIDO "New Sessions" with 7 new tracks composed by me and many japanease producers...Cargo,Ryukyudisco,Elmio,M-Swift,FreeTempo,Jazzid
a Grande.2008 is the year of debut solo album of Janaina Lima,caming back to the dance floor on Brasil and the World releasing her first SOLO album produced by Mad Zoo. Menino Lindo tracks is her first single...
