About Me

Hello. My name is Tony Colman, and I make music and DJ under the name London Elektricity. I have been making music for most of my life, and releasing London Elektricity tunes for 12 years. Right now I’m recovering from an operation on my spine so i’m taking a break from DJing whilst making the next London Elek album for release late in 2008. I have a day job too as CEO of the drum and bass label Hospital Records. Oh and if you like interesting d+b and want to hear me talk rubbish over it please subscribe to my Hospital Records podcast. It’s won two Digital Music Awards which is nice because my mum and dad can now be proud of their son.

If you want to book me to come and play records you need to email [email protected] wherever you are in the world.

If you want to send me demos please AIM your best 2 tracks to: ’hospitaldubs’ in theory it’s on 24 hr auto receive. Don’t send more than 2 because i only have time to check the first 2 tracks by any new artist. I can’t give feedback on the majority of the tunes i get sent but i promise i’ll listen to all of them, and if I like your tune enough i’ll either play it on my podcast or if it’s so good i don’t want anyone else to hear it I’ll email you so don’t forget to include your email address.

I haven’t got a facebook because i have a life that i enjoy living and given that it would be a choice between making an album or spending endless inward gazing hours tweaking my profile for no reason other than to convince myself that i really was somebody and that I looked like i had a good life with lots of friends, I chose to make the album.

If you want to know what software you should buy or anything about studio techniques, how to make a hit minimal deathstep anthem using nothing but a calculator and a hymn book then check out the producer’s page on www.hospitalrecords.com which is going up in Feb. it’ll contain all you ever needed to know to get started on the road to fame, women, men, poverty and world amen n reece domination.

And finally thanks for your comments, i do respond in person if your message isn’t 1) spam 2) boring or 3) boring spam
