DJAYFAR grew up in Dijon (France) where from 16 years old he has worked at various
clubs like l’AMBASSY, Le CINTRA, and at legendary l’ANFER for about 12
years.
This early experience helped him launch his DJ career, focusing
particularly on his preference for 70’ s and 80’s Black American music
(Disco, Soul and Funk). This music has inspired him to pursue
record-collecting (his amazing collection represents now more than 7000
records).
Boosted by many meetings and collaborations he got into ACCRORAP dance
company of Lyons for a 2 years tour with the HIP HOP OPERA Show in France,
Italy and Holland.
He’s been living in Paris for 7 years now where he meets again with his
faithful DJ friends as Bob Sinclar and DJ Abdel.
In December 2006, he composed a part of the original soundtrack for the famous one-woman show of Florence Foresti's at l’Olympia.
He is looking for musical projects or party opportunities always
wanting to share in his culture and passion for Black music.
He's now working with Bob Sinclar on different projects.
