Jason Aaron

Mister, you have got a lot of hard bark on you comin' down here like this.

About Me

I'm a comic book writer whose projects include the Eisner-nominated Vietnam War mini-series THE OTHER SIDE and the ongoing Native American crime series SCALPED, both for Vertigo, the Mature Readers imprint of DC Comics, plus a current stint on WOLVERINE and ongoing duties on GHOST RIDER, both for Marvel Comics.
"Writer Jason Aaron, a newcomer, has a gift for profanity and violent extremes."
--The Onion

"Jason Aaron is a writer worth watching."
--Garth Ennis, writer of PREACHER and THE PUNISHER

"The most exciting new writer in comics."
--Brian K. Vaughan, writer of Y: THE LAST MAN and TV's "Lost"

--Ed Brubaker (CAPTAIN AMERICA, CRIMINAL)

"The best new series in years. Spread the word. Tell your friends. Talk about it. Blog about it."
--Garth Ennis (PUNISHER, PREACHER)

"One of the richest, most rewarding reads around."

Trade paperback available now

"Not since Eric Remarque's All Quiet on the Western Front has a novel--graphic or otherwise--been as powerful, stirring, unsettling, and thought-provoking... THE OTHER SIDE is nothing short of a true classic."
--Library Journal

"A stunner of a comic. In fact, few war stories in any medium blend such horror with such a poetic humanization of the enemy."
--Playboy.com

"Because the characters and their manias brought on by the war's atrocities are so compelling, the only bad part about THE OTHER SIDE is that it has to end."
--Washington Post

"This book isn't trying to be important, it just is. One of the very best comics Vertigo has published since PREACHER.
Highest possible recommendation."
--Brian K. Vaughan, writer of PRIDE OF BAGHDAD

"I've said it before but I'll say it again:
This is a fucking outstanding book...
This gets my Highest Personal Recommendation."
--Brian Wood, writer of DMZ and DEMO
