Jason and The Fossils came together as a group in 2003 when 13 year old guitar player Jason Boone started playing music with his father Dan and his Uncle Bob. One year later, in 2004, the group recorded its first C.D. entitled Jason Boone : Four The Record. The bands name was derived from the large difference in the ages of the band members. Jason Boone, age 18, Lead Guitar and vocals. Dan Boone, age 54, Bass Guitar and vocals, and Bob Boone, age 49, Drums. Jason And The Fossils have opened shows for such notable bands as Kamelot, Sonta Arctica, The Agonist, (hed) p.e., Authority Zero, Mower, The Villebillies, Danny Diablo , Joshua Podolsky and the Alien Blakk. Jason is also an accomplished cello player and performs with the Strongsville Symphony Orchestra. He also plays in the pit orchestra for the Middleburg Heights and North Olmstead Community Theaters. In November, the band will be returning to the studio to record our second, and much delayed, C.D.
