About Me

Lets not bore you, here are some records i have done:
http://www.discogs.com/artist/Jon+Doe
I am a Cristain and go to church on purpose.
Lets talk in the third person now...
Jon Doe first came accross the Rave scene around 91', buying vinyl and then starting to mix in 92'. Influences from the KLF, Acen and early Rave Djs such as Ellis Dee, Easygroove lead the way.
Increasing variety from 94 onwards with all styles from house and jungle a home pc at college and a tracker program lead to some early production. 95' saw a limited release through Stu j's Man From Uncle label. The following year 'Always' was released with support from Slipmatt, Seduction and others while the flip side 'Fire' caught the attention of Dj Brisk.
Various appearances from then until now have been spread accross the hard dance spectrum from the biggest hard house labels such as Tidy Trax to the biggest Hardcore labels such as Quosh records under the 'CLSM' guise. Jon Doe has occasionally quietly fired out some breakbeat tracks under other aliases and has recently started to produce under the Peacemaker name.
Not quite content with releases across dance genres the most recent project has been making a TV show with friend Andy Backinsell (with lots of help from various parties!!) called 'Underground' which is filmed, edited, compiled and occasionally presented by... Jon Doe In 2008, attention has turned to music video production as well with work completed on some new material:
