If you know me, you'll know what i'm like...
I'm totally in love with music, I'm not narrow minded about it either, I'll listen to allsorts of styles & genres, from Mark EG to Metallica, from Darren Styles to Dido... if I hear a song n it sticks, its good in my books :D
I regularly DJ, but I won't blab on about how i'm this or how i'm that, because I don't personally rate myself & 'big myself up'. I leave my dj'ing and mixing open to criticism and opinion, I take all comments into consideration & learn from them.
End of the day, i'm probably one of 50,000 dj's in this country, so i'm not gonna join the crew of the 'I'm something that i'm not's. I just take each and every set I play into consideration and make sure I shine when i'm the man in control.
My favorite styles are Trance, Hard trance, Hardstyle, Hardcore/Freeform, & Drum n Bass, but my dj'ing originated from trance.
I'll try any style really, I've got a love for the beats.
I've loved trance since about 96/97 and my favorite tune that I've always loved listening to has to be Paul Van Dyk - For an angel...
I've been mixing a year and a half, still early days, but have now established myself. I've always had an ear for tunes, and it feels great that I get to be in full control of each and every song that you would be listening to.
I love djing because it helps me express my feelings through an inanimate object - sound - rather than through the physical or mental approach.
I'm now beginning to make my desired impact & i'm a resident DJ for Master-Ravers & play a part in a Hardcore Collective called 'Totally 'Ardcore', based in Bristol, and run by DJ Miss Special K, who is without a doubt, the South's best female Oldskool DJ!
