I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Following on from my medical career
I was an entrepreneur for about 15 yrs.
having established two businesses,
one an award winning company....
now, I am an author.
My debut novel,
Beautiful Strangers
- A BEST SELLER -
ISBN 9781425954468,
(written under the pseudonym of Ellen Dean)
published August 2006 was nominated for
a 2007 Golden Crown Literary Award-
Romance Category.
Reader feedback confirms my gut feeling
that it will make a cracking film
or television drama.
I am currently working on the second book
of what is going to be a trilogy.
My website is:
http://www.ellendean.co.uk
You can now order your signed copy of Beautiful Strangers from my website using Paypal.

Also, for a limited period, you can download 48 chapters of Beautiful Strangers in pdf from my website.
For those of you who have read my book,
and are familiar with Hyacinth,
just for fun she has her own myspace site now at:
www.myspace.com/hyacinthdickinson
You can keep up with her there.
I played Ellen Dean (hence my choice of pseudonym)
in The Masham Players production
of Wuthering Heights a couple of years ago.
I have also played Baroness Hardup in Cinderella,
which was great fun and raised
lots of money for charity
and the groupie Columbia in a
'spoof version' of
Rocky Horror.
I "Timewarp" with the best of them.

My Interests

My interests are
complementary therapies,
golf,
photography and amateur dramatics.
I like to have fun with friends,
the video of us
'The Usual Suspects'
on stage performing to
Abba's Waterloo
whilst raising money
for charity.

Books:

My favourite,
although I am biased is
BEAUTIFUL STRANGERS
which I am proud to say,
"is my own recently published novel".
Review Velvet mag no. 12:05/07
This is a great read.
The characters are seductive.
Prepare to be seduced,
angered and generally stimulated
by this novel.

ABOUT THE BOOK...
When beautiful and talented
young surgeon Beth McConnell
joins David Dickinson's surgical team
in a Newcastle hospital
her life is changed forever.
David's rich-bitch wife Hyacinth,
gynaecologist,
supreme sailor,
total control freak
and adrenalin junky,
is smitten by Beth
and desperately wants to
initiate her into her
inner circle of personal girlfriends.
So she plans an intimate weekend
for them both in London,
the lovely Lou Scott on the train.
Rich and beautiful women
are drawn together
in a twisting tale
of jealousy, deceit,
blackmail, magic,
lesbian love and longing.
'HYACINTH'
one of the main characters
from my book
Beautiful Strangers
due to popular demand
now has her own myspace site.
Go to:
www.myspace.com/hyacinthdickinson
Or click on the image
in my Top Friends list.
There you can read her BLOG
and see where she goes,
what she does and who she meets
on her very own page.
She is always on the trail
of Beth of course,
but will she ever catch her?

And 'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne
an excellent book.
