About Me

Violence against mascots must stop. Period. There are people inside the suits, people. Despite what they might look like, they are not actual cartoon characters. They don't just "bounce back" when you yank on their tail, slug them in the over-sized head or shove them over a stadium railing. They get hurt. Just like you and me. // Inspired by the alarming discoveries of mascot abuse made by writer/directors Doug Barber and James Phillips while filming their upcoming feature documentary Behind the Mascot, MascotViolence.com , is here to raise much needed awareness of this disturbing trend and to help mascots take back the day!We were nomintated for a MySpace Impact Award...thank you and if you want to vote for us, please click on the button.
