Hej. I'm Luke One. I was born on the very same day The Smiths played their first show -needless to say I couldn't quite make it in time. I play/record music and dedicate myself to some form of art, music, painting, writing, all that emo-shit. I'm from Malmö, Southern Sweden. Since a few years back I reside in Switzerland, studying audio/sound/recording and its different ways.
I like walking around listening to music. I write songs. I am quite happy most of the time despite the few breaks I seem to catch at the moment. I'm inspired by the beautiful decay that has become our modern world -some kind of reflections of how the most miserable aspects of life can translate into poetry.
17 years ago I stole my brother's guitar, at a time when my musical heroes were doing drugs in Los Angeles. Then I hammered my sheets and pillows into dust with some makeshift drumsticks. Plugged in a Casio toy keyboard. And then I sung my fucking heart out with the same love, anxiety and depression that still keep me up nights today.
As this is written, I've started working on my first full-length album, which should be an odd affair that hopefully will see the light of day sometime this summer. 10 tracks -some acoustic songs that have figured on my demos, and some songs with a more...electric / electronic feel.
