Rockin’ Denver for 25 years and getting S. Broadway drunk since 1962! Herman's has helped launch the careers of groups such as Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Opie Gone Bad. The Hideaway stage has been rocked by the talents of Faith No More, 311, The Fray, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic... Today, newcomers get a chance to break in during weekly showcases of new talent, and on busy nights, the dance floor is a swirling mass of grooving chaos. A casual crowd and friendly, family-feeling staff make Herman's a fun place to go even if you don't know who's playing. And even if you don't like the act on stage, you won't want for entertainment: Sooner or later, someone will get drunk and provide a sideshow. Just don't let it be you. Herman Roth passed away November 21, 1997 at the age of 91. Herman's son, Allan Roth, and Grandson, Mike Roth, are keeping the tradition going to this day. Allan started booking musical acts into Herman's in 1982. Allan has made Herman's the venue of choice in Denver for new bands on their way to the top.
