About Me

Peter Catella was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, where he soon found a deep passion for all things musical. After a stint at University in Industrial Design, and with some live and session work as guitarist, producer and arranger, Peter moved to England to study Songwriting at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. He has recently joined a project set in the roots of Jazz and piano blues of the 1940's alongside Victoria Ferguson, while working relentlessly on an upcoming EP of a more "progressive blues" style of his own, drawing from the Portuguese roots he still keeps very close...

Breaking new (old) ground....

It's kind of frustrating to try and create a new sound.... thinking that others, with less resources than us, did it in a manner that looks so natural. And some still do it.... guys like Peter Gabriel...
