I am a writer, artist, living on the west coast. It has always been my dream to start a non-profit organization in which artists would have a place to show and sell their work, with portions of the proceeds going to various causes, such as AIDS, HIV, DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AND EDUCATION, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, DISTASTER RELIEF, etc. If it matters to you - IT MATTERS! My inspiration for all of this is Gia Marie Carangi, the worlds first supermodel, a drug addict (who was clean and sober prior to her death at age 26), and one of the first women in the United States to lose her life to AIDS. AIDS Awareness, Prevention, and Education is my passion, and I still hold out hope for a cure! It is my hope also that Artists for a Cause will be able to donate substantial amounts to these causes. We won't be asking you to simply hand us money, we will be asking you to buy our art in various formats so we will be able to donate that money. Believe me, every little bit helps. We are just beginning to build the Official site, so I hope you will join us on this exciting journey.
